I'm trying my hand out on Hi5. There are so many networks out there and it's getting hard to try to keep up. But all in all it's good to be able to keep in touch with friends and family. No complaints.
I'd die of boredom if it was only English literature and I'm no longer keen of teaching English so English as a Second Language is not as appealing to me as it used to be.
The program I'm taking now is called "Master's of Art in English for Careers (MEC)" ka. Basically, it deals with English usage in any industry: legal matters, Advert/PR, news reporting, entrepreneur, business/literature translation, tourism, international business, etc.
While MBA might be wider pursued and accepted in Thai society, it made my life a living hell so I never regret quitting that program to enroll for MEC instead. P'Ake may be disappointed as he's been pushing me to go with MBA in the first place but he seemed to be understanding when I told him how much happier I'm with English for Careers.
If you don't mind terribly, I've made a plan to visit you someday after graduation na ka.
Hi P'Toi! Glad to see you here :) I'm pursuing my master's degree in English at Thammasat at the moment and I'm loving it so far (to steal the tagline for McDonald's). How have you been doing? Miss you, Dew
